By accessing or using Call My Doctor ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the Platform. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Call My Doctor.

2. Description of Service

Call My Doctor is a telemedicine platform that provides:

• Online doctor consultations via video and audio calls
• Appointment scheduling with licensed healthcare professionals
• Electronic prescriptions and prescription management
• Online pharmacy for medication and health product purchases
• Medical report and test result management
• Vital signs tracking and health monitoring
• First aid guidance and medical center locator
• Ambulance request services

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must register for an account to access most features. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your profile up to date.

3.2 Account Types

• Patient — individuals seeking healthcare services
• Doctor — licensed medical professionals providing consultations
• Pharmacist — registered pharmacies fulfilling prescriptions

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Doctors on our platform provide professional medical opinions based on the information you share. Treatment decisions should be made in consultation with your healthcare provider.

5. Payments & Refunds

Payments for consultations, prescriptions, and pharmacy orders are processed securely through Paystack. By making a payment, you agree to Paystack's terms of service.

• Consultation fees are set by individual doctors and displayed before booking
• Refunds may be issued if a doctor fails to attend a confirmed appointment
• Pharmacy orders are subject to the pharmacy's return and refund policy
• All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (NGN)

6. Doctor Obligations

Doctors using the Platform must:

• Hold a valid medical license in their jurisdiction
• Provide accurate professional credentials during registration
• Maintain professional standards of care during consultations
• Protect patient confidentiality in accordance with medical ethics
• Prescribe medications responsibly and within their scope of practice

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Impersonate another person or healthcare professional
• Use the Platform for illegal purposes
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Interfere with the Platform's security or functionality
• Share prescriptions or medical advice with unauthorized parties

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and NDPR 2019.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Call My Doctor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, though certain data may be retained as required by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
